Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Planimeter and its Lite / Pro editions.

Information We Process

• Measurement records you create, including map records, image records, shapes, names, colors, unit settings, and formula settings
• Images you import, such as floor plans, sketches, or design drawings
• Photo-based location images you choose to attach to map markers
• Subscription and purchase status used to determine whether advanced map features such as Google Maps and Mapbox are available
• Device and app details you choose to send in feedback email, such as device identifier, OS version, app version, and screen size

How We Use Information

• To save your measurement records on device so you can continue editing, viewing, importing, and exporting them
• To calculate lengths, areas, and formula results based on your settings
• To move the map to your current location when you choose location-based features
• To verify access to advanced map features when you purchase, restore, or manage subscriptions
• To diagnose issues and improve the app when you contact us

Where Data Is Stored

• Your measurement records, imported images, and most settings are stored locally on your device
• The app does not create its own online account system and does not upload your measurement content to our own servers
• Subscription, purchase, and review flows are handled by Apple

Permissions

Location

When you use features such as moving the map to your current location, the app requests location permission. You can deny access and still continue using manual map measurement and image measurement features.

Photos

When you import an image for image measurement, or extract a location from a photo to place a map marker, the app requests photo access. You may also choose limited photo access if supported by the system.

Email Feedback

When you send feedback by email, the message content and attachments are sent through Apple's mail composer. Sending the email is always your choice.

Subscriptions and Payments

• In-app subscriptions, trials, renewals, refunds, and billing are managed by Apple
• We do not directly receive your full payment card details
• We only use the purchase status returned by Apple to determine feature access

Data Sharing

• We do not sell your personal information
• We do not proactively share your measurement content with third parties except in the following cases:
• You choose to use system share, export, or email features
• Apple or relevant service providers process the minimum necessary data to provide subscriptions, purchase restoration, map services, or system features under their own terms

Retention and Deletion

• When you delete a measurement record in the app, the related local data is deleted with it
• If you delete the app, locally stored data is typically removed as well, subject to system behavior

Children's Privacy

This app is not intended to collect personal information from children.

Policy Updates

If this policy changes, the updated version will be included in a future app release.
